Drums Compression Question

I have some drums I am going to Drumagog, if I have to compress some of the drums would I compress first then add Drumagog and turn drumagog's output down to compensate or would I add Drumagog first and then compress??

If you are not replacing 100% and shooting for a nice mix between the original and drumagog then.... you should definitely do a little eq before hand and a little comp to get a usable kick tone. Then match it up to drumagog.

If replacing 100% with drumagog, I would do my processing after the drumagog replacement.
