are raw speakers made differently for guitar and bass and pa mains or monitors.
right now i have two pa main boxes, same make and model.
one works the other need a new speaker, what specs do i need to find out to find a raw speaker for it that i can run these together from my powered mixer. my situation will require that i sometimes daisy chain them from one output and at other times run them on one output to each speaker(my powered mixer has two outputs).
thanks for your help.

Jun 22, 2010 09:55 am Speakers are speakers...some are made differently to suit their specific purpose (guitar tones, bass guitar tones, bass bins, high packs, etc). The sound they end up producing is GREATLY Influenced by the cabinet they are mounted in...the size, geometry, porting and such affects it a lot.
Given your apparent level of knowledge (not meant as an insult, we all been there) why would you buy ram speakers? What are you going to mount them in...or by "PA boxes" do you mean unloaded cabinets that you plan to mount them in there?
Jun 22, 2010 03:57 pm The best guys that I know for matching speakers up for the box that you have, would be either Jay or Dave over at Loudspeakers plus. Great guys over there. Just tell them the make and model of the box that you own. They'll either have the exact one in stock, or one that will match.
