Hey guys.

I use to have an old version of Cubasis VST. And I still have a bunch of files that have the .ovw extension.

Is there a converter out there that can put them back to a wave file? I still have a working version of Wavelabs 4.0. Is there a way of using Wavelabs to do this?

As I understand it, that isn't a wave file, but the visual depiction of a wave, like the sine wave image or something, so I am not sure it could be converted...I might be wrong, but that is how I am understanding what I read.

Hummm. I have been doing a ton of reading on this as well. Turns out, that this was part of their old web base program that they tried to get up and running. Which never did.....

But, it was a way of compressing the audio info quicker. Before high speed processors were around.

Anyhoo, I received a valid copy of Cubase AI4. It's great to have a Yamaha rep working with me! :) And it is suppose to be able to decipher this .ovw image file. But, I can not seem to be able to find any info on how to do so.

Anyone know? dB? Paul? pjk? Anyone!?!
