Cakewalk Pro Audio 9+Alesis MultiMix 8 USB 2.0 Setup for Audio Recording.

Hi folks.

Firstly, I have searched the forums, but I haven't found the exact answers I'm in need of. Sorry if this is old news, if it is, please could you link me to any previous posts? Much abliged!

I have the above mixer, connected to a USB2.0 port on my laptop. I'm trying to record multiple mic/line inputs into Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 projects, but I've had no joy in finding the individual channels for my mixer! All I have for inputs are Alesis USB Audio Left, Alesis USB Audio Right and Alesis USB Audio Stereo... My mate tells me I need to configure Cakewalk to accept all the inputs from my mixer, but I've no idea how to. I've found all manner of settings for MIDI inputs and outputs, but I don't use these!

I have clicked the wave profiler and it has told me that it has been successful. Is CWPA9 not advanced enough to use my mixer? All I want to do is record my keys, condenser mic and dynamic mic into individual tracks in Cakewalk, can anyone advise me please?

Many thanks!

Signed:
A very confuddled Glen!
