I use a Mac and run primarily Digital Performer but would like to delve into Pro Tools soon too I thought this might help with the eventual transition. Anyone use/used one of these with a Mac? Thanks

Mar 19, 2010 10:25 am I dont have a MAC, however, I was seriously considering this unit, until I heard the evil word...LATENCY! I heard it has some latency issues, but you never know, it might work very well for you.

Mar 19, 2010 07:28 pm I've had a# of m-audio equipment. I have not used any of the fast track units(i hear good and bad). I have had 2 of the delta PCI cards (delta 1010lt and audiophile 24/96) i still have the audiophile (i've had it for 8 years) it works great, i also own a Profire 26/26 which works great ,sound better than most units out there and i've had 0 problems. that said I did have a USB device about 6 years ago (quatro?) and it worked "most of the time" . as far as latency goes, I've never had a problem with it and M-audio (and i've recorded 16 tracks at once).
