I'm new to the whole recording thing period. I recently purchased an imac with a pair of mackie rm5 pwrd monitors. i have also a yamaha s90 es keyboard i want to use. i have a couple questions for you?

1) what kind of an audio interface you guys recommend??
here's what I'm considering:
1. profire 610
2. mbox2
3. mbox2 mini

2) after i connect the interface, will i be able to listen to my computers audio through my rm5's? ie: my itunes library??

I really appreciate you guys's help in this matter. My main purpose for doing this is to practice with my keyboard. that's really my priority, but i would also like to begin to fool around with the whole recording thing. thanks again.

Hey j
im not real sure whats the best out of those ones, mbox seems to be popular from memory though.

you will be able to listen iTunes thru your compy or just audio in general.

just make sure in Mac "preferences" under "sound" that your interface is selected in the "output" bit there.
