I have used this thing for a good long while (I bought it in '06),and I feel very confident using it. I have exported numerous mastered & individual tracks and burned them without incident.
I really like it and never really had a complaint till now.
I can't seem to get it to import tracks downloaded from the net.
I downloaded some backing tracks from GuitarBackingTracks.com and converted them to wav. files, I opened the connection and copied them into the WAVE folder in the FAT partition and closed the connection and the DP01 tells me "Import Files Not Found". WTF?? I don't believe they're corrupted because they play fine on WMP.
So just to make sure I wasn't missing something I exported and then imported several tracks and everything was fine.WTF??
The only thing I noticed was that the bit-rate for the files downloaded from the net was twice that of the exported files from the DP01.
Could that be it? I can't see how, but I ain't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Hopefully you guys know something I don't. Thanks for any and all help........................Blueaxe

OK, it took a little bit of looking around. See when you use something long enough, you get complacent. The answer was right there in the manual!

'The files for import are to be 16-bit/mono/44 kHz sampling rate'
Well thanks anyway I guess you can dump this post. Or maybe it can help somebody... who knows?
