Waves Plugins failing to load intermittently in Cubase

I am using Cubase Essential on a Vista 32 bit computer. Quad Core.

My problem is when songs start to get plugin intensive, certain Waves plugins stop showing up in the "insert" column.
The plugs I've been having the most issues with are GTR stomp boxes...which I like to use on vocal FX send groups. When the song starts to get processor intensive...the plug-in just dissapears from the "insert" column. No error message, nothing.

Even when I freeze a majority of the tracks, and the processing is not that intensive, the plug still fails to show up. I can go to another song and it will load fine. But when I go back to the problem song, it remains missing and unable to reload.

If anyone has any thoughts, mucho appreciated. Thanks
