Cubase LE dem version that came with Zoom G2.1U effects pedal

Hello all, I am a mature adult.. via an injury at work i took up playing the guitar...it has turned into more than I expected and my progress has suprised me.. I got a Zoom effects pedal and had to work hard to work it out , once over the inital fright of the technology block that older people seem to have I have sorted it quite well and am doing my own "patches". My big problem is with the CUBASE.. I have downloaded it and got the latest update driver from Zoom. It stops tthere I am clueless with a Capital "F".. I can read the instructions but its a real foreign language to me it just defies my logic. I can't even get the ZOOM to show up on the list of devices..

I don't want to just play my Strat without being able to download my own rhythm tracks and layer lead and vocals over etc. I am lucky that money is not a problem to me but I would like thoughts advice etc about where I should go from a simple learning curve point. I am not stupid but it is all a "black Art" at the moment. I appreciate that people here may have an ajenda way above my level and no doubt you get a lot of questions looking for a short cuts without people doing some ground work and study and effort first. I would really like to hear constuctive ideas about a course of action for me.. I certainly will put the effort in. thanks
