insert cables

I just got a couple of insert cables and the split ends are labled tip and ring. I kind of expected in and out, so which is in and which is out? thanks.

...and if that doesn't work, try switching them around :) Trial and error - my personal favorite way to do things!

But I do believe db is correct.

Depends on the board! That's why they label them tip and ring. Check the board manual.
