yamaha motif xs8 vs s90xs

Hi everyone;

I found myself in need of strings, piano etc in my recordings very frequently and thought I might look into a midi keyboard. Then when I started browsing through I started considering buying a synthesizer because it was gonna cost me almost as much if I tried to get all the sounds as separate software and get a decent 88 key hammer action midi controller (it has to be 88 and hammer action), and it was gonna eat from my computer's performance. So long story short I got confused and couldn't quite understand what is the difference between the yamaha motif xs8 and s90xs. They both claim to have the same sound engine etc. so why the huge price difference??? And also I found a second hand yamaha s80 for a very very good price any thoughts on that would also be helpful.
