Hello thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out.
I am using Adobe Audition 3 and have an asio sound driver and it's is enabled yet I cannot get a signal to show up in the mixer or on the levels bar from my plugged in instrument.
(So on the mixer when I strum nothing appears anywhere)
However if I record I can get the sound from my instrument on playback.
This is frustrating because I need to know what levels I am recording at and it needs to show me what signal it's receiving.
I find it odd that it will record the signal and allow me to play it back but not allow me to see it before hand.
I didn't have this issue in Adobe Audition 1.5
Can someone please help me out?

Dec 13, 2009 02:14 pm Do you have the Audition MIx button pressed if so you'll hear stuff while you're recording, enable the Always Input to hear while stopped or with play pressed.

Jul 09, 2010 12:20 am From what I can gather the kaosspad is a midi touch pad/effects processor. As long as you have the effect(s) enabled on a line out of the unit and routed to Audition it should be recording it. Now if you're trying to add the effects after recording, you would have to route Auditions output into the unit and then record on a separate input to Audition.
