Hello, this is my first post here and i hope i will get some help here.
Well i have the UCA 200 interface.

My problem is that i want to hear what im recording from the speakers.

I have connected the output from my BCD3000 Dj mixer to
the input of the interface. And the output from the interface to the speakers. I can record from the BCD3000 to the laptop and then
play what i recorded from the speakers. But the problem is that
i cant hear what im recording until i stop the recording and then play it.
Can someone help me?
I appreciate all help!

It would help to know what software you're using . . .

but, i can take a guess. In reaper, there's a button next to the track i'm working with, that turns on monitoring from the track, or turns it off.

I'm guessing that your software has something similar, look for something like monitor input or something similar.

Then, also, you may look to see that the track is routed to the master / outputs. I'm sure it is, as you're hearing it when you playback, so it's probably fine.

I'd guess the monitor input thing is turned off. In some occasions, the tracking monitoring is done before the PC, so you wouldn't want it turned on. In this case, you want to hear monitor form the PC so it needs to be turned on.

If that's not it, then tell us what software you're using, and that may help one of us get closer to a solution.

Welcome to the HRC, btw.

Sorry for the late answer

Im recording with audacity, i found the monitor on as you said.

But when i clicked it on, the only thing that happend was just that the sound bar started to move so i could see how loud the input sound was but no sound came out.

In Audacity, there should be a menu option somewhere that tells the software which device to use for input and output. Make sure that they're both set to use your Behringer device (assuming that you're monitoring from that device). If you're using computer speakers, then you'll have to set the output to your computer's sound card instead of the Berhinger.

I monitor from my recording interface with headphones, but I monitor from my sound card when I listen over my speakers. So I'm always switching back and forth. I haven't used Audacity in a while now, but there should be a "devices" menu somewhere that will determine which sound card you use for input and/or output.

This is how it looks like in audacity, both input sound and output sound is correct because when i turn monitor on then you see that the bar is moving. But i have to record it and then play it to hear what ive recorded.

And here is how the manual says:

Thats exactly how i did.

If i didnt had the interface and connected my master out from mixer
straight to the mic input on the computer then i can hear the sound straight from the speakers without needing to record it first.
But i dont want to do that because the computers soundcard doesnt give me so clean sound.

But when i do it through the interface then i have to record it first and then play it.

I notice two volume sliders, one with speakers (maxed) and one with a mic (minimum). Could that possible be the monitor volume for playback (speakers) of recorded tracks and monitoring the signal your recording (mic)?

Ya try everything, even the stupid little stuff helps. Also, your interface could be just broken :\ I've heard bad things about behringer. And i have the same interface lying around here somewhere. The volume doesn't work on it. I can't remember if the monitor switch did anything. And the headphone jacks didn't work. Thankfully on mine everything i actually needed to work was just fine. Just a thought. Still, try everything before you think for sure its broken.

Hello guys

I was messing around with it and i went to my
seller and talked to him, he has good contact with behringer in Germany. So i asked him to ask someone therefrom how to do it.
And he said that the interface isnt actually made to work like i want.
It is specially made for the xenyx mixers which has more outputs like for example the master and CD/Tape.

Then you connect the CD/Tape output to the input of the interface. And then the output from the interface back to an input of the xenyx. Then you have music coming out from the master and from the CD/tape to record. And when you want to play something else from the computer then the sound is going through the interface to the input of the mixer.

On my Bcd3000 i dont have 2 outputs so i simply made 2 outputs on my own through simple connection cables like thoose:

First this one from the bcd3000

and then this one to make 2 outputs
http://www.jula.se/mediaarchive/817498/main/980425-jpg.jpg

And where i have speaker inputs i have the same one as the second above. so i can connect one from the mixer and one from the computer.

Hope this will help for thoose who have the same problem or something like this

A little more info on this... although, I'm using a UCA 202, it's much the same sort of gadget...

When using Audacity v1.2.6, there is an option in Edit > Preferences > Audio I/O that allows you to select "Play other tracks while recording new one". You'll be able to hear the previously recorded tracks while recording your new ones quite Ok and there'll be no bleed-through or anything.. However, you might find the latency to be an issue, depending on your computer.

Alternatively, I run my sound sources (guitar, keyboard, occasional microphone) into a 6-2 mixer and use the mixer stereo outputs into the UCA 202 and the effect send from the mixer to my amp input; levels and things still have to be managed independently but at least I can hear what I'm playing before it gets sent into the UCA 202.
