Just swapped over the DNS to the new (and hopefully improved) MM site. Comments welcome...

This is why you don't see mastering engineers working on their own mixes... I'm so into this thing at the moment that I can't just step back from it and see it objectively...

Dec 01, 2009 02:49 pm I concur with dB. Looks great, and very easy to navigate. I like the new layouts, and the info is laid out in a very straight forward manner.
Nicely done indeed!
Dec 01, 2009 02:56 pm I must agree with everyone as well.
Very well done.
Dec 01, 2009 04:04 pm Phew... Took care of a bunch of goofy php things that didn't transfer well with the new DNS for some reason... Back end stuff - Nothing anyone would notice. But geez, it never ends...

Dec 01, 2009 06:39 pm Ah yeah, very nice. I like how surfing from the 'business' site to the blog site is now seamless. The site has great unity now.
Dec 01, 2009 08:19 pm That's what I was hoping for. The rough part was squeezing 52 pages down to - I don't know - 12?
Granted - There were some casualties that were left behind...

Dec 01, 2009 10:06 pm Wow, that is different in a very good way for sure. I'll agree as well on the Classy description. laid out nicely as well. Although I only browsed through quickly it is a good improvement indeed.
I'll have a better look later in the week.
Dec 11, 2009 02:31 pm Bunches of tweaks -- The back end (Client Immediate Upload, Online File Management System, etc., etc.) are still being - 'customized' (for lack of a better term), but the rest of the site is more or less "done" from what I can tell.

Yeah sure fine still looks good...I would read another blog entry if you posted one... :)
no pressure.
Also: I StumbledUpon a blog that grossly miscommunicated the value to be found in a typical drive-by mail-in mastering service. I couldn't help but comment with a link to your blog. He edited the body of the post to reflect my comment and the link to your blog. Unfortunately those links are now broken. You might want to fix it as I think this guy gets stumbled on a lot.

I felt kind of like a pompous twerp for saying anything, given my vaguely conceptual understanding of mastering...but what the heck. I'm used to making an *** of myself. Standard protocol.
