Ya, it does.

But it won't divulge its age.

Seriously...how long has HRC been around? April 3th, 2002 is dB's "Member Since" date, but I think that HRC pre-dates that.

I can hardly even remember NOT being an HRCer, and I've only been around five years.

So spill the beans, old man HRC! How old are you?

dB and I have talked about it a few times as to when HRC was first conceived and launched as a very basic simple forum/BBS type site. It evolved pretty quickly and took up a lot of our time since we were the only ones answering question's.

But ya, it does pre date 2002 by a good distance. MAybe dB and I will have to sit down with some beer and figure it out for real.

I'm sure a beer session will help y'all while digging up the HRC's real starting date. I only hope you'll be able to remember it the next day... LOL

Just offering a bit help. A little Tequila has been known to spark memories (be they true or false) much faster.

Yeah, my member date was when development of the new domain name began, but HRC does predate that as "Home Recording Central" which was housed on my dbmasters.net domain, and before that on hypermart servers back when they allowed free web sites.

Birth year, I believe is around 1998 ish.

I wanted to buy homerecordingcentral[dot]com but couldn't because that guy that owns homerecording[dot]com bought it once this site started getting in the way of his...hence the change in name.

Ya, from what I can figure by looking back at some of the CD's you and I were buring back then its around 97 or 98. I'm trying to remember when your first was born.

I tried looking for cached pages as well from the Hypermart days, but the links all come up dead.
