Hey I'm recording an electric guitar run through a Behringer Ultra Fuzz FX Pedal and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions/tips for recording?

It sounds kick *** already but I think I'm being fooled, I havn't even EQ'd it yet? Should I or can't you do much with fuzz
I know it's a vague question but if you've recorded fuzz before let me know what you did/didn't do

PS. Is there a page on this site somewhere?

if it sounds kick *** then dont touch it.
just means youve managed to record it great straight off the bat.

does the recording have other instruments with it yet (bass drums etc?)

blend it with a non-fuzzed track....unless you want that white stripes sound....i donno, i never could get fuzz pedals to sound nice to me....perhaps that was my problem, fuzz doesn't sound "nice" haha....but yeah if you like what yer hearing....run with it.

Yes, fuzz is just fine. It all depends on what the sound is your looking for or to use.

One thing with distortion's is that a little goes a long way so no need to crank it to 11. The effect can be used as you like and as stated above, just mix it in too taste. None of us can tell you whether its good or bad unless we can hear what it is you are dong with it.
