Sep 23, 2009 08:58 pm Yep, they work pretty well. Its RF so you can use it in any room without having to have a line of site connection. It seemed to have a pretty good range to it as well. Sure can make things a bit easier.

Sep 24, 2009 12:07 pm I messed around with it for all of about 15 minutes last night - greatest money I have ever spent in the studio. Picked it up for $125 - installed the disk, moved a file into a folder and started using it. I LOVE when things work right, the first time. I couldnt be more pleased with it and have already thought of about 3 more uses for it then I orignially was getting it for. My brother was asking if people can just record themselves now so we can play ping pong in the next room! Honestly, they could once the session is set up. Its easier to teach someone how that works, than the DAW. I also have a few EXTREMELY OCD artists that will listen to takes 10 - 15 times. I can just have them flip back and forth between the takes using that and can go use the bathroom or get a drink or something. I'm not saying it cuts out the need for an engineer (paying costumers definitely deserve the interaction), but it sure has some great advantages for just capturing content. Maybe I'll offer discounted rates.....
