Hey all,
I am currently heading into mixdown time for some clients, and have an issue. They have requested a vocal effect close to that of Kenye West when his has the robotic rtype effect. I have heard this is done using Auto Tune or plugins like it.
I have Waves Vocal bundle version 1.1, and have tried everything including a re-install. My DAWS is Sony Acid Pro 7, and for some reason a lot (if not all) of the vocal bundle plugins do not show up in the plugins selection in Acid. I goto the PLugins folder in Windows and I clearly see Waves Tune 1.1.dll in with the rest of the plygins that do show up in Acid's selector, but none of the Vocal bundle ones seem to be showing up.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Sep 23, 2009 07:53 pm Did a quick look around and can't find any issues with that portion of the pluggin. Its odd that the rest of the bundle seems to be working fine but that one is not showing up, even though its in there.
If Acid allows you to specify a specific folder try creating another folder and drag the .dll file into it and rescan with that folder included.
Also, does Acid allow you to select something likeshow failed pluggins on loading or something like that when you scan for new or start up Acid?
Sep 23, 2009 09:55 pm None of the vocal bundle is showing up actualy. They are all showing up in the folder as being installed, but Acid nor sound forge is showing them in the plugins list inside the programs.
I did do the failed the pluggins thing, and they are not there either. I havnt tried putting them in a different folder and having Acid look for them though. I"ll take a stab at that tomorrow.

Sep 24, 2009 12:40 am Doesnt Wave need some kind of propietary wrapper? the WaveShell or something.. im not expert. try seenig if that is there, and if its working properly n stuff. Ur DAW needs to load the Waveshel before the other plugs will work
