Woot, my fiancee's off to a neuroscience headache/migraine seminar out in Philly. She had to do a poster, and her boss is presenting I think.
Anyhoo, they won't be back til late Sunday. So, a few days to myself, and the question to what the heck am I going to do with myself? Err, aside from retracking my vocals on Children of Pripyat. Hehe.

Sep 10, 2009 03:26 pm Hehe. Actually the cat in the avatar is our one-eyed cat Clapper. He can be a little obnoxious sometimes when he wants attention. We have another that's a grey tabby who's a bit more docile...unless he's hungry hehe.
Rob, just send her back in one piece. She's the bread winner at the moment til I land a job. I signed up with Robert Half Technologies, so hopefully I'll get some contract work coming my way before too long. I've also got access to their online courses now, so I might download a few and start going through them.
And yeah, I've known about Call of Pripyat. Seems they're still using the X-Ray engine for one last game before buying/moving to a different engine. Which is probably good news for me. Clear Skies plays okay for the most part hehe. Man my machine's getting old.
I'm looking forward to sitting around and not doing much hehe. I might head downtown Iowa City and see if there's anything going on at some point. Catch a nice lunch or dinner while I'm out and about. Pretty nice area, and might be good to meander around. Might even stop at a pub for a drink.
Sep 10, 2009 10:23 pm I know what I'd be doing. Cranking up the guitar's with Ray and doing a bit of jamming. But alas, I've always got work to do and never enough time for myself, even if I was alone.
