Aug 13, 2009 12:42 pm I must admit, I picked it up from another site... just thought you guys would appreciate it just as much as I did.
What a great guy... That video made me shed a tear at first, but by the end, I was laughing at their shtick, and smiling ear-to-ear.
Thanks for everything, Mr.Paul.
Aug 13, 2009 02:19 pm A genuine legend in a world where that word gets thrown around much too much.
You can bet there will be at least one pallbearer at his funeral complaining that a Les Paul is too heavy to carry for a long time.

Aug 13, 2009 08:47 pm Yeah... I have three, and two are way-heavy, so I know what you mean.
Still...

Aug 14, 2009 05:19 pm Yep, we all played Les Paul's yesterday at the music store yesterday in tribute.
And honestly, he can be thanked for the electric guitar we know and love. If it wasn't for him we'd still be playing strings on a box and miccing them.
And ya, watched several vids with Mary Ford last night. I own all of his recordings and will pass them down to the boyz when I depart this place. Hopefully I live as long as he did.
Aug 17, 2009 12:26 pm A true legend. Saw a program about him and his work, brilliant
and a really nice guy. I bought a Les Paul Deluxe in 76, great guitars. R.I.P.
