Ok so I was working on music then I shut down adobe without saving the file because I didn't need to.
I tried reopening it later on and it poped up with a message saying "to continue working where you left off please restart adobe" the only option you get is okay then you click and it exits out of the program, sould somebody please help me.

Aug 10, 2009 12:06 pm Hmmmm, had something similar in Adobe Premiere. I would simply goto the control panel, open programs, and let it run a repair on the installation.
Nov 12, 2009 05:58 pm Hi really hope someone can help me!
I have installed Adobe audtion 3.0 on my new acer latop with Windows 7 and it says that "the currently installed soundcard driver does not support DirectSound Input. Recording audio is not possible."
Can anyone help me with this?
Many thanks!

Nov 12, 2009 10:47 pm I am guessing that you are trying to use the built in sound chip on the laptop then?
If that is the case you might let windows try and update the driver. But odds are good you may not get Adobe to run with a generic driver. So an option would be to look at adding an external USB or Firewire type interface.

Nov 16, 2009 02:04 pm My Dell did the same thing after upgrading to win7. I did what Noize said and let windows search online for a newer driver, problem solved.
