Aug 02, 2009 09:37 pm It will be compatible only if you have the interface to use it. There are cards available for that purpose that are directly installed into the 03d. And yes, the unit is an older model, 1997 was the first model year for that unit.
Is it still a usable unit? Yes as long as it has been taken care of and not abused.
Will it work with DP, yes. With PT, probably not as well.
If your thinking it can be used as a control surface. No that is not what this is. It is a digital mixer and that is all. It can send some channels of MMC and or receive that data as well and will run full internal automation. But that does not good unless your running a full digital system such as ADAT or the like.
