hey,can anybody give me some info on curing a problem with cakewalk 9? i use it to record some of our live ball games commentary, but it will only record to about 790 on the counter, but it will run indefinitely as if it's recording, even though it's not. has any one had a problem like this before? can cakewalk 9 be configured to truly record for an hour or more? help!!!
"sound card is fine, and have plenty of memory"
any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks

Jul 22, 2009 01:41 am I've not heard of this problem, but have you got enough memory because over 1hr recording is a big big big file?

Jul 22, 2009 09:47 pm what is odd is i can record drum tracks for an hour and it will record, but sometimes while doing the ball games,we will let the recorder record with no sound input, "dead time",and it messes up. acts like if there is no sound or not enough sound going in, then it stops recording.
