Great Pictures! I must admit that I have never heard of any of those acts...but Jeremy Fisher looks like the kind of singer I would like. I'll have to check it out.

Very cool indeed!

Jim, I think you would really like Jeremy Fisher... he sounds a bit like Paul Simon and was a great performer...reminds me a bit like Arlo Guthrie as well.

Yeah...I just spent too much time watching his videos on YouTube and listening to his music on iTunes. The Paul Simon comparison is spot on. I hear a little early Dylan influence as well. Right up my alley...will be purchasing his album "Goodbye Blue Monday" off of iTunes within the hour!

Hey Hue, she is pretty young but yes, she is cute... her guitar chops are quite good as well... if she can keep with it and not let the industry eat her up, she will have a great future.

I think the band that I was most impressed with was Kuba Oms. Great sound and performance and totally caught me by surprise.

Jeremy Fisher was awesome as well.

Nice shots indeed BH. The first shot of Beth (Bif) makes her look a bit scary. I don't think that skirt could get any shorter then that. I suppose she was her usual rockin self, looks like it.

You know, she always looks scary but I was really glad to see her back on stage. She is a very kind person and her looks are very deceiving. She only completed her 13 months of chemo/radiation treatment in Feb. I really like that first shot cause it shows her "survivor" tat.

I think its the short hair in the pick and a different way she is wearing the dark eye make up lately. I never thought she looked scary in that sense though, menacing I guess is a better word. Like in the video for her version of We're not gonna take it, for the movie I can't think of the name of right now. I guess it might just be a tired look more then anything in her eyes. But indeed, she has a lot going for her and a lot of will power to be onstage after what she has gone through.

And indeed, she is a wonderful and gracious person in reality indeed. Not afraid to be on the street just like you or I.But ya, its nice to see the tattoo right out there and not hidden. If this video was a bit brighter you can see it slightly on her there as well. I love her version of this tune as well.

Nice pic's indeed. Looks like it was a nice stage set up for sure.

Toy still looks big as ever.

I miss the days of Lonesome Dave and Rod Price together. I still remember meeting Dave when it was was Savoy Brown. Those two played guitar together so well live.

Looks like Foghat is surviving though. I've only heard them with Huhn once. Saw him with the re-made Humble Pie as well with Jerry Shirley as the only original member.

Yeah..... Well, I just miss when Marshall Tucker was listenable.

There was so much feedback, and tinny sound. I had to get away from the stage!

It had to be the worst sound I ever heard coming out of our rig!

Now Foghat was killer! Great sound! And now, they have a much more bluesy type sound. Which I love.

Ya, I like them both ways but the return to a more bluesy sound fits them now with age. Pretty much full circle since Lonesome Dave with Savoy Brown was a more blues based sound.

Bummer on the Marshall Tucker band though. I liked them a lot in their hey day.

Hey BeerHunter

What kinda gear/glass are you using? I'm using a Canon Digital Rebel XT with kit lens and some ok ones. I need a good low light lens, any suggestions?

el musico, I'm not using anything special... I have a Canon Rebel XS. These were shot using my stock lens and a 55-200 zoom lens. I wish I had a low light lens recommendation for you but the truth is I'm still trying to find one myself. All I have been doing is messing with a lot of the camera settings to see which ones work and which don't. Experimenting is key IMO. You can squeeze a lot out of a camera if you just mess with the settings.

You can even get great shots with a point and shoot camera like my Sony CyberShot if you mess with the settings and turn the flash off. This one of Bob Rock was shot last year at the same event with my Sony.

Hey guys.

The low low light lens that was suggest to me by Diemusik was the 50mm f1.8 lens.

At an ISO of 1600, with the Canon XTI, I can still use a shutter speed 125 or above.

Adorama has then for around $85.00.

Yeah I was talking to a couple of photographers I know and they recommended an L series 55mm lens... then I saw the $1800 price tag and ruptured my puba... so there's a $120 option that's about f1.8... but it's mostly plastic and they wear out quick.

How are you posting images here? Pro Feature or code?

For myself, I have a Flickr account. I upload them to Flickr, then I copy the URL and post it here.

I have the 50mm f1.8, and yes it is plastic, but I have had zero issues with it. I take it everywhere with me, and it has lasted for over a year.

Now I know a year is not that long of a time period for a lens. But, I could buy one per year for the next ten years, and still be under the $1800 that the L cost. And still have the same sharpness that the L has.

anyway.. i'm trying to get better gear to grow with but the photo budget has taken a back seat to kids, studio, band... I just need to get that 50mm f1.8. images should be sharper with that right?

The same thing happened to me the first time I tried to post here.

After the .jpeg, there is this strange additional symbols.

Such as <?.

If you remove them, your picture shows.

No problem.

The other thing that I do, is go to the large size on your Flickr page. Under all sizes.

That way you can click the image here, and see the full size.

Rez, you can use your server space as well. Just link to the folder you drop them in. That's what I do.
