i haven't been dooin' much music around here lately as i've been playing alot of poker....so in an effort to jump start the creativity juices i decided to try to make something using the sounds from online poker (chips, cards, beeps etc.).....turns out it was quite fun!

this got me thinking maybe we can do a monthly thing here on hrc, where everyone is given a handfull of sounds (samples) and we see what ppl can make with them.....

obviously this is geared more twards the electronic side of things because sequencing is almost a must....but it could be fun....

you can hear my two ditties in my profile....i made these in Reason alone, lol i hate their sequencer!!! but atm sonar will not recognize my stock soundcard, so i gotta work with what i've got.

Dude, that is way cool. Just sampled sounds from the poker game? The first one makes for a good hip hop beat. The second is also pretty cool and kinda dramatic.
