Hi, I just bought the alesis micron for playing live. I made a couple patterns and sent them to a setup so i could trigger each pattern with a certain key. I realized that I can't play more than one pattern at a time. I have to release the key for the other pattern first. And latch won't work either bc i don't want it to loop and even so I still can't play another pattern on top. this seems like a pretty basic feature... am i just missing something?

It could be a limitation of it only being able to use 8 voices at once. It is 8 voice poyphonic. Which means it can play up to 8 notes at one time.

You may have it switched on in mono mode for the patterns which would allow only one pattern at a time. But that said, I'm not sure if the Micron with its limited capability can do multiple patterns at once.

That would be a function in multi-timbral mode if it is possible with it.

Have you checked the manual thoroughly?

Try this; Find the sound that the pattern is using. Hold down the Programs button, and press the key labeled Voice. Scroll to Unison push Knob, turn Knob until you see the setting "one voice/note", push Knob to set. It might work.
