Condensor mics..

The main reason for this post is that I was looking on musicians friend for a condensor mic and I found two possibilities in my immediate price range...the nady spc-15 and the nady spc-25. But, I could not overly distinguish the two from each other except for a few minor details(an on/of switch, super cardiod pattern vs cardioid, etc.) There didn't SEEM to be any major differences in sound quality though. SO my basic question is....

Is there any major differences I have missed, especially those regarding sound quality?

Also, I am not set on these by any means but would like to keep my price down so if anyone has any cheap suggestions please do share.

I'd suggest to keep saving money until you can afford something a little better. Neither of those mics are terrific options, and I'm not sure that they'd provide any benefit over a moderately-priced dynamic mic like the Shure SM57 or SM58.

I'd save up until you can at least afford something from MXL, Behringer, CAD, or something like that. MXL has an entry-level model at about $60 (the MXL990) that's pretty good for the price. At $100 the options open up a bit more, and at $150-$200 there are tons of good options (especially since the Shure KSM27 went on clearance at $200).

A third as well on the MXL line. Really good for the price you pay. Much better then the Nady line indeed for a little more money.
