Hi everyone I have an issue with some missing audio file for some project I have been working on.
I was having some problems with my Cubase SX3
after I tried installing Cubase4-I could'nt sort these problems out so I installed a norton ghost image from ablout 6mths ago. Before I did this I dragged all the files from my C and D drives over to the external drive.
However when I now load any songs from the last 6mths only the midi data is found and the audio files are missing!!
I have tried seaching all drives but no luck.I am keen to try any other suggestion members may have as I am desperate to get these files back and have my finger cross they are still around!

Have you tried either locating the files manually, which should be an option. Or dragging them back into the Project folder they should be in, or dragging them to the main audio folder for Cubase.

One problem is if the files were not saved in a format Cubase uses to store all portions of the project including audio in one folder you will have to re create them by opening it as a new prject and importing the audio you know belongs in the project.
