Aloha,
Just finished another composition similar to March of the Chosen. I like to call that style of music "orchestro", a synthesis of orchestral and electro elements. QfJ describes an imaginary voyage across the solar system into the hydrogen seas of Jupiter. And YES: I wanted those trashy sounds, I love that 80’s feeling. Anyway, have a good flight!

May 21, 2009 08:13 pm That was great. I was hoping the video would be a running video though. I opted for the hi rez at SoundClick anyway to get a better listen.
Lots of low end in it that worked well. Yes, I had it cranked up a bit. I really liked the blend you had between orchestra and electro. I think the sounds you used worked very well to convey the feeling of the journey you described. Very Star Wars feel to it in parts.
Reminds me of when I was into writing similar pieces years ago.
I really liked the sounds you choose to use on the low end as well. They really helped bring a lot of feel to the piece as well.
