I have a DJ software (eJay) in my laptop and I plug it in to one of the line in the mixer and no problem with sound coming out of it. However, I can't listen or edit the next song w/o throwing it live. Will this UCA202 be able to separate the music whats playing and be able to edit the next song without listening it through the speakers but instead the headphones?

I highly doubt it. In order to use a software DJ program and monitor each track being mixed separately you will need more then two channels of output.

Your looking for the cue mix to be sent individually which a simple 2 channel interface cannot do.
