Non powered mixer to powered speaker connection?

Hi folks ...

I just bought a soundcraft mfx 8 channel non powered mixer .... I am connection it to some 15 inch JBL powered eon speakers...

The speakers will take a mic level or line level signal ... so my question is .. which would be the best way to send my mixer signal to the speakers ...?

Through the xlr mic level signal out ... or the quarter inch line level signal out .... I'm just running mono so that is not a problem ....
