You heard of this guy? He's made up this song/video by just trawling youtube for bits of people playing and mixed them up into a song. Cool no?

The bass player at the start is a mate of mine. He's this one who found it and showed me it

Wow, that's really impressive. I'm not usually a fan of mash-ups but this is really a showcase of a true talent.

Do you think that bass and that drum part were sampled from Youtube too? the sound quality for them is really good.

The bass like on the double bass is actually one of my mates who I used to play in a band with years ago. It is definately sampled from youtube. I asked him about it.

Ya, seen it. Have you checked out any of his other mixes yet. He is very talented. Not that there hasn't been folks doing that for awhile but he has brought a little bit of fresh to it using the video bits. And ya, I'm sure it took a good long time to create those.

I was thinking about that "one stop drummer guy" (where he tosses his drumsticks). But this is way more involved. It combines normal sampling which has been going on for ages, and builds upon the "one stop drummer" idea, and builds something really dope. I'm a huge fan of this, and normally I don't get hyped by the latest internet sensation.

I'm with coolo as well. I don't jump up too much on hype stuff. But I've been quietly watching him make some of these and he has gotten better with each new one.

He does not go overboard, and they are all very pleasant to watch and listen to for sure.
