First, make sure the foot switch is plugged into the midi in. Next, I believe you will have to maek sure the foot switch's midi channel is set to the same midi channel as the J-Station.

That should allow it to communicate with the foot switch.

Does the foot switch have multiple function switch's?

what we found out is the J station is kinda like the P.O.D and only wants to work with other Johnson devices , so I guess we fiugered out that mystery .

I find that hard to believe? MIDI is a standard protocol, so it seems odd...where did you find this out? A conclusion you came to, or did Johnson tell you that?

Ya, I control my POD with either the Floor Board, or directly from the PC, via midi. So I don't know why the midi foot control didd not work for ya.

If ya get time, write a post and tell us what they said, or how ya found this out.

my mistake guys i was fed some bad info through the grape vine . It turns out that the behriger FCB1010 works quite well , it just took a little tweeking and a lot of reading and some software . After personaly playing with the two ( J station and foot switch) it seems silly now to have said anything , oh well if we didn't have user error we wouldn't learn i guess.
