Feb 06, 2009 10:28 am No see songie there.
(EDIT)
Okay found song - I think you really (REALLY) need to work on your core sounds.
Both have - just plain freaky phase issues... The "Grunge" one actually sounds (much) better with one channel inverted (I had to check the chain really quick to see if something was messed up).
Sounds like the entire input chain is being overdriven - Tracking too hot? There's distortion (not nice, smooth, guitar-ish distortion - more like failing circuitry / clip-ish type distortion) dotted about both of them.
What's that piercing sound at around 23 seconds?

Feb 06, 2009 08:09 pm that's the problem.i'm having real problems recording with a grunge pedal with heavy distortion.where as the other one was relatively sweeter or less annoying(it ws recorded with a grunge as well.)please advice.

Feb 06, 2009 10:15 pm Ya, ligth grunge really has some stuff going on there sonically. Were you using some kind of a flanger patch or something? I'm not sure if it was the same thing MM heard, but I could here after the 23 mark a metallic kind of undertone there. Like the regen was wide open on an old school flanger.
But I will agree that you are possibly overdriving the inputs which is messing up the distortion.
Using less distortion and layering a couple sounds will give it a much bigger sound in the end.

Can you tell us exactly how you have your chain set up from guitar to the PC?
