Please HELP With New STUDIO SET UP

Im fairly new to audio production. I was hoping I can get a little help and learn a few things about setting up my studio. Here is a list of all my equipment:
Apple G5 PowerPC (OSX Leopard 10.5.6)
Akai MPC 1000
Fantom X6 Keyboard
Digi 002 Rack
Logic 8
ProTools 7.4.2
Mackie 14 Channel Mixer
USB Turntable
Mo' Phatt and Planet Phatt Sound Modules
Midisport 4x4
M-Audio Monitors
Microphone
Plenty of MIDI cables and 1/4 inch cables

I really need a few suggestions with the best ways (STEP BY STEP) to set up and connect all of the equipment. Basically I want to be able to take the sounds from the x6 and sound modules and sequence them into the MPC, and from there record them into logic or protools(mainly logic) and also record vocals into logic or protools.
Everyone's expertise will be greatly appreciated!! I really want to learn as much as i can from all of you!

Um, I would skip the MPC and record right into Logic really. One less thing to add noise to the signal in the end.

The MPC is basically a sampler at heart, and the sequencing is an afterthought. You have the midi interface to record the midi data directly into Logic along with the audio. Then you can simply arm tracks and record the outboard synths in after all is sequenced good enough. Do you have Logic Pro 8 or Logic Studio 8? And is the PT 7.4.2 an LE version?

Do you have anything hooked up and usable or are starting from complete scratch?

Cool, I don't have time to write out a full tutorial at the moment but someone may stop by before I get back and get you started.
