I might be nuts but on that last Steeler's interception it sure looked to me that the Steelers were offsides, maybe just a pinch but one guy jumped the line for certain. Unless I'm completely blind.

Not to take anything away from the cool run for a TD but I don't think that should have gone that far.

When I was 15 years old I wanted to be Bruce Springsteen. 31 years later, I think I still do.

Well the Steeler's won, not a surprise really but I hought AZ was going to do it there for a minute.

On Springsteen, he sure sounded like he was getting winded easily though. couldn't quite reach those high long notes though either. Still cool to see though indeed.

I always have, and still think Bruce Springsteen sucks ***. I think him and Bono should walk off into the sunset together and just go away.

Springsteen is one of the "elite" performers of our time.

I was out buying beer during the pregame, and I was out buying hot wings during halftime. So I was spared a bunch of the hoopla.

I did catch the Journey-ish band that played about an hour before kickoff. I think their name was Journey. They reminded me of that old band named Journey. They even played a song that I could've sworn was written by Journey. But it wasn't quite Journey on the stage...it was almost like a karaoke singer fronting Journey. (yes yes I know, it WAS actually a karaoke singer fronting Journey).

Why does Neil Schon think he needs 12 picks to play 1 song before the super bowl? And what has he done to that poor, poor Les Paul Custom? A floyd Rose on a LP Custom? Say it ain't so!

I'm not a Boss fan (well, I like the pedals but not the rock icon). I have a lot of respect for him though. Now that James Brown is dead, Bruce can claim the title of "the hardest working man in show business".

I'm not a Springsteen fan either, but that was the best performance I've ever seen from him... which is probably why I'm not a fan :)

But I just have to say... poor...poor cameraman... how to explain the black eye to the family... :)

I will say it was one of the better halftime shows I've seen...and some of the better stuff from Springsteen, but, as a whole, he still should never have got passed the club scene with his career.

I'm still cracking up about that...

Congrats to Pittsburgh, and Mike Tomlin for, I believe, becoming the youngest head coach to ever win a super bowl.

But, as HCwDB says, your kicker is still a huge douchewank www.hotchickswithdoucheba...h-steelers.html

yeah, i'm glad he got to it before you did, db. lol. giving props to 7 here is sort of my job these days, but of course i had to do it. you'll notice i've just taken to coughing and saying the number, though--i don't get paid for this.

but i like how springsteen completely failed to lead himself back into style late in the fourth quarter with no time remaining.

I will say this, Big Ben had a great game..., he did. Hats off to everyone but the douchewank kicker. :-D It was a fun game to watch, that last TD by Arizona really woke me up, I was sorta drifting off from a long weekend, then that happened!

I really thought AZ was gonna do it there for a few. Then it all fell to pieces. But it was indeed a good game to watch what I did get to see of it. Which was most of the game I guess.

I didn't see it as AZ falling to pieces, I saw it as Pittsburgh simply kicking their asses doing what they do best.

i don't think anyone dropped the ball in this game. both QBs played virtually mistake-free. ben's interception was a tipped pass, and warner just kind of got unlucky by not being able to see harrison before that pick there. this is why the game was exciting. everyone was playing very well, so anything could happen. i thought the cards were more of a threat than some steelers fans were thinking. i did not make a prediction for this game because i couldn't, really.

but still...

right after the cards scored that TD i received five worries texts from various people in the space of ten seconds. in response, i just sent out 'wait.' to everyone. at that point, you knew that pitt would at least tie--and there was enough time for one of those game-winning drives and no reason not to suspect one. the room i was in actually became excited and i was talking about 7 for MVP after the second pass in the series. you just kinda knew it was going to work out
