MBOX 2 - Broken?

Ok, so we were recently recording with my MBOX 2 and Pro Tools Le 7 and while listening to playback of our recording the sound meter on one of the audio tracks jumped to 60% while it was recording enabled but we werent playing anything. Now The bar sits at 60% reguardless of what we do and we can't seem to figure out whats wrong with it.

The only time we can get the bar to leave 60% is when we turn the inputs on the mbox up all the way then the 60% jumps to 80-90% with tons of noise. Here is a screen shot of the problem.

This picture was taken with everything on the mbox turned down or off, and nothing plugged into it except for the usb cable. That means the problem lies in the MBox or the computer. Any help or advice would be great. I Think im going tot ry uninstalling and reinstalling ProTools next. Thanks

It sounds like the track is stuck in the record enabled mode or something if it is reacting to the inputs.

Have you tried opening a new project and seeing what happens and if the box function's properly then?

That is odd indeed. It could be a hardware issue, but a re-install of the software will at least help narrow it down.

I guess I would suggest checking to make certain you have the absolute latest driver release as well and install that.
