I wanting to know should i get a emu-0404 audio interface rather than a MBOX 2 Interface. EMU 0404 gets 24bit/192khz resolution compared to the MBOX 24/48khz? And also I want to know will Cubase quality sounds as good as protools quality?

Um no. Your comparing two completely different boxes. The am-box 2 is supposed to be a much higher quality unit.

E-mu gear is nothing more the glorified Creative Labs stuff. In other words Sound Blaster.

I tune down down...

And also, the two DAW's won't provide ANY different sound quality's. It's all in the user and his tools/skills. Not the programs.

I'm not a cubase user but i've used it, as well as PT. both are fine programs but not as intuitive as some other ones (like cakewalk products IMO) . There are a ton of USB interfaces out there, the M-box is an alright piece of gear so is a # of M-audio units for the same price or cheaper. I plus the M-audio products will let you use all the programs mentioned above.
