Guitar Hero

We didn't get my nephew a guitar for christmas in the end. Thought he was probably a bit young but we got him Guitar Hero.

Didn't think much of it actually, thought it was well easy, was expecting it to be great the way people rave on about it.

Still maybe after he masters that he'll want a real guitar, I suppose I can understand how it can teach people rhythm and coordination

Ya, I prefer to watch it rather then play it. I do much better using a regular controller instead of the guitar controller thing.

But ya, watching the kids play it on expert is pretty funny indeed. I'll give them a lot of credit for the hand to eye it takes to play that game.

See, my thing is, why can't they make the guitar with an LED fret board?

This way you are learning how to really play.

I do agree. But then it would become too complicated for the majority of the gamers out there who like the simplistic approach the controller now has.

Noize2u is right. That inference can best be supported by the rampant popularity of the Wii.
