guitar tracks pro?????????????

I have cakewalk guitar tracks pro. When I record my second track it lines up in time live but when Play it back even before mixing it down it it is alway a measure or two off. I think maybe it is a processer problem I have an intel celeron processer with inside written under it. Can anyone help me fix this problem before I throw this computer out the damn window and just freaking move nashville and play on the corner for change untill I get noticed?

Howdy Bing, (love your cherries, btw).

I'd suggest you fill us in on some of your other equipment.

Celeron processors aren't known for their speed and capabilities, but I'm not sure that's the whole problem.

Some tidbits that will help us troubleshoot:

Speed of processor

How much ram

specifically, what audio interface (soundcard)

what OS you're using

Some other ?s I'd have, if your PC is Celeron, then it's probably older, does the HD need cleaning / defraging. Are there tons of processes running in background? Is there virus / malware programs running? Do you actually have virus / malware infecting yer PC.

Have you watched the CPU performance, and/or page file, to see if you're tasking out the system?
