Hello again,
I have a new situation I cant figure out. When i record a guitar track into sonar 6, and then i try to pan either left or right afterwards on my M-audio projectmix, it doesnt pan correctly. It just sound like it is getting quieter. and i still hear a little bit of sound from both the left and right speaker.
Any ideas why this is?

Nov 20, 2008 08:07 pm I think this is a problem with either the jack or the port the speakers are plugged into. Try fiddelin' with the plug a bit or try a different cable.

Nov 20, 2008 08:15 pm Things do tend to get quieter when panned, unless there is adjustment being made (my mackie board does this and audition has a software feature).
If you pan 100% either direction do you still hear it in the other speaker?

Nov 20, 2008 09:57 pm its not the connections. It was working last week when i tried it. It has to be something with my settings.
Actually, i think the panning was working fine until i switched my drivers to ASIO. Last week i was running my system with the wrong drivers and was informed to switch to ASIO which helped clear up some other issues. Now the panning doesnt seem to be working. I doubt the drivers are whats causing this issue though.
