I don't know if any of you have read the post on "Wireless Microphone System Please Help". But, there is information that I have posted in there about an important issue affecting all of us right now.

The FCC has undermined the whole wireless mic industry. All wireless mics are now considered a Pirate Device.

Any mic that works in the UHF channels 52 - 69, or the 700 mhz range. Are now illegal to own or operate, or even sell. Unless you are a licensed operator by the FCC.

Inside that post, there are three articles that tell you about what is going in right now. Please take the time to look that information over. As this will affect all of us.

I believe that there is a petition that is out there. Once I find it, I will post that here.

I can't find the petition from Shure. But, I have found more up to date documents.

It's comforting to see that not much has changed in 60 years.
