PC Internal Recording Problem With Soundforge

First of all , big hi to everyone on this forum.

On my old set-up I had a Yamaha Mixer and I had the output of it connected to my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 sound card , and another from the sound card's output so I could hear it on my Hi-Fi System.

Another one of the perks of this is that when I opened up Soundforge and played a form of sound from Cubase/I-Tune's/Youtube etc etc it instantly picked up this and I could record it into Soundforge.

However , the setup I have now doesn't seem to need my soundcard and runs off of another driver.

I can deal with this , but I'm having trouble recording from the computer.

The Monitor's Interface has a stereo input which when I plugged the Ipod into it recorded fine.

Anything to do internally with my PC internally it doesn't seem to want to play ball.

Sorry for the long read , any tips ?

Thanks for your time.

If you're running XP, go here www.worldwidewoodshed.com...31%20levels.htm and make sure the wave balance is not muted.
