Boss BR1600 help I'm new

I recorded a track and I need to fade in a keybord part but my manual does not list any info on fade in and outs during recording.Has anyone done this or know how this works on the BR1600.
Any help would be great!

Chuck,

Not sure about this, but maybe it would be easier to do the fade in and fade out at mixdown. Just record it normally, and then when you mix it, bring the fader up and down for your fades.

A lot of computer-based recording programs can do this automatically, but I'm pretty sure you'll have to do it manually on the BR1600 (I'm not intimate with that unit.)

I'm not all that familiar with it either, but I do believe that if you bring the track into the view on the BR 1600 you can do an edit. There should be a menu choice for that. Then you simply do the fade in and fade out while it is running playback.

It should record the automation and have it there in that specific track.

There are a bunch of little tutorials on you tube, here is one to start with.
