Selecting best mixing console?

I have the following setup:
- Rane TTM-56
2 - 1200 m5g technics
- m-audio firewire solo
- laptop for serato and tower for recording.
2 - edirol monitors

I want to add 2 more monitors to that setup and possibly some other stuff later on. Would it be feasible to purchase a mixing console and run the master out from the rane to the console. Then running the console through the firewire solo?

Obviously I am really confused about how to best set this up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, that would be a workable solution for that. I often run my DJ mixer through my main desk into my interface.

For the second set of monitor's you may want to look at something like the Mackie Big knob for separate control of each pair. There are other cheaper solutions out there as well from the likes Samson and so on.

I must say though that I did have to modify the circuit in my Big knob to loose some of the amp circuit in there as it colored my monitor mix. But the Samson was no better from the times I have listened to them.

Dangerous Audio makes a very clean one for that but it is not cheap at all.
