Oct 03, 2008 09:00 pm I think wherever he has it hosted will not allow streaming to another website. Maybe, maybe not.
If you have a link to a direct download or something that might work well.
Unless you are hosting it yourself, then rename the file to something that is a bit shorter and easier for streaming players to deal with.
Then we can give it a go.

Oct 04, 2008 08:01 pm Well, your mp3 still does not want to stream on the page, but I managed to get it to download finally.
Not my favorite genre but musically it is pretty well done for that type of music. My only thought is to get the vocals to sit a little bit better in the mix. They do stand out front a bit too much. Try a tiny bit of a small room type reverb on them to get them to settle back in the mix a bit.
Otherwise, I liked the tone of the guitars and the bass and drums seemed pretty good. The drums could maybe use a bit more power to them for this type of music, but they are OK as they are.
And by power I mean a little bit bigger sound to them.

Oct 06, 2008 05:08 pm I'm agree with you: more blast beat
But this song is very cool with the disco time in the middle of the song.
I work hard for the drum's power.
What do you do for this? compressor? mulit-band compressor? anything else? I try with PSP wintage warmer and with Izotope but it's not convincing for me. It's more powerfull but global sound is worse than before

Oct 06, 2008 10:41 pm this may sound silly, but i've compressed the drums in the past and set the level so they sound just under clipping, it makes them sound heaps fatter, have to make sure though that that pushing the limits level wize, you dont kill the drums natural sound to much and definatly dont take it too far.
i guess then you also have to take into consideration how much headroom you want and not push the drums too much, so when you master the song, and drag it through a limiter that those fat drums dont get blown out completly.
im sure i could've explained that quicker somehow.
when i did it, it was wasnt intentional but its something i remember worked well.
