Video !!! Sweet Child Of Mine !!!!

This was recorded 2 years ago and I finally got around to learning how to get video from my camcorder to my pc :) Its my cousins old band. The singer/guitarist and the other guitarist are my cousins. They are my sons age and came down to visit and see my studio/jam room, that we had just finished. They were all still in high school at the time. Kind of rough, but the kid sort of sounds like Axle. They had a blast that night. Its better if you click on view high quality at the video page. I moved a few other videos of theirs but havent posted them yet. Enjoy

That was cool...I like that kids voice. In parts I prefer it to Axl.

Heck yeah! My son's band does a great cover of that too, only they have a girl singer.

Agree with dB...his voice is awesome on that song.

Sound was tough for me. It was actually my first recording (2 years ago). I knew nothing about mixing or recording. We had just finished my studio and invited them down to check it out. I need to get the video up someplace with a good playback system. The audio track on youtube is not as good as the original. Any suggestions ?

YouTube automatically converts everything to their own (slow) codec and mono sound. Nothing you can really do about that.

I got the stereo version to play. You add &fmt=18 to the link. But with forums that show youtube players it doesnt work.

OK yep that was cool. He looked like he was really having some fun with it. That is good. But gotta agree he sounds better then Axle for sure. having fun is what its all about.

Are they still playing together?

The rhythm guitarist (my cousin) moved back to Texas (Im in Ohio). The lead guitarist/vocalist (my cousin) is now with a real heavey metal type band. The screaming vocal type. He doesnt sing though for them. The bass player got a football scholarship to college. The drummer is also in college now. I plan on getting the other videos up as soon as edit them. I think the new band he is in is about finished too. Some of its members are heading off to school also.

Actually found Chris's (singer/guitarist in video)bands myspace. Band is "Oath of an Exile". His name is Chris Brooks. I like the music, but the scream type vocal is not my thing. gives me a headache :)profile.myspace.com/index...friendid=803474

I just had a Gospel band come in and record a cd. I should have fired up the camcorder. Didnt think about it until after the fact. They would have liked that.

Looks like a good time was had by all. Great sound too considering it must have been loud as hell in there. =)
