Line 6 toneport ux2 help

Hey guys,,, i just purchased the line 6 toneport ux2 and installed the software within (GEarbox) but when i plug in the guitar nothing sounds.
The question is that, does it only works with monitor speakers or is there any way i can use my comp speakers?

The UX-2 is an audio interface itself and when you are plugged in it will act as the interface for sound as well. You can use the headphone out on it if you have no way to plug monitor's into the line outputs.

You can try sending the signal to the onboard card to your PC speakers but I am guessing you will be adding some severe delay/latency to the signal.
