Wiring 4 Speakers in Series & Parallel

Hi Rob, trying to clear my mind off this. Thanks for helping.

EXAMPLE:

4 speakers 100W @4ohms
1 amp 425W @4ohms

Referring to your earlier post..
First we have to wire the 4 cabinets into 2 sets of 8ohms. And then we'll get L/R of 2 clusters of 200W @8ohms to fit the amp's bill.

My question is: How do you wire 2 cabinets of 4 ohms into a 8ohms in Series?

Simple. You just take the hot wire (+) into the first cab. Then you take the neg. of that cab to the positive of the the second cab. Then the neg. of the second cab to the amp.
