We finally finished our humble little CD. I went ahead and used CD-baby to market it. Take a listen to some of the songs if you get a chance, most of them have been on my profile here for grading, but a few haven't been heard yet. www.witchsmark.com/music.html

Aug 26, 2008 01:48 am Sounds great, I particularly like the vocal sound you got, of course a talented vocalist no doubt helps, I think she'd sound good without any effects. :) Rest of the band sounds great as well, nice sound on the guitars/bass/drums, you really did a nice job on the mixes.
Song's I liked the best were, "Eye of Creation", "The Calling" and "Jump", & "Begin Again". I really liked "What's in the Name of a God" musically but the lyrics didn't sit well with me, but hey thats just me. :)

Aug 26, 2008 08:15 am Yeah, people tend to misunderstand What's in the Name. All the song is saying is that alot of people blame things on God(i.e. the whole Catholic priest scandal with children), when it's not God that does these things it's the Men who represent God. For instance, it's not God who lies and deceives its Man that does this and then speak in Gods name, don't blame God. The song misunderstood can sound like it is bashing God, but it's not it is actually in support. Contrary to understanding we are a Wiccan based band not Satanic, and very very religious, unfortunately people see the right side up Pentacle and instantly think of an Upside Down Satanic Pentagram... no different than the fact the Satanist also use and UpsideDown Cross to represent themselves too, just that a Wiccan Pentacle has closer resemblance. Wiccans don't even believe in a Satan, we are a nature based religion hence Pure Green Love and Begin Again. Just thought I would shed some light, but regardless awesome that you like the songs.

Aug 26, 2008 09:31 am Yeah, it's always a laugh when y'a explain to a Satanist that they are actually practicing a perverted form of Christianity . They don't seem to like that... but it is in fact true, as "Satan" is a name used in any other religion, but Christianity .

See, they do believe in science afterall, and they didnt even know it.
Lucifer was actually supposed to be a fallen angel from heaven or they gave him the a** or something. go figure.
They didnt put much thought into the character anyway.

Aug 27, 2008 10:45 am The ten commandments came FAR after that...you will find substantial differences in attitude between the old and new testaments. From "whoso shedeth mans blood, by man should his blood be shed" to "turn the other cheek".

In truth, however, the ten commandments say nothing about forgiveness. They are all about loving your God, not worshiping false gods, not coveting, not killing, not stealing, not cheating on your spouse, getting your *** to church, and not bearing false witness against your neighbor (hmmmmm, noting that for personal use)...oh, and honoring your folks.
It would appear if you cheat on your spouse with your neighbors wife, one act is breaking two commandments...that doesn't seem fair. :-D

Aug 28, 2008 02:27 pm Cool... the 5 CD's I sent CD Baby sold out so now it is available for Digital Download. They told me to send them only 3 more. That kind of sucks because they have 1 person in queue waiting and thats immediately gonna make only 2 available, and I know for a fact that they will go the first day up. I need to send them atleast another 5 maybe even 10. I think I will send them 5 and let them make the best of it. It costs too much to have to send them 5 cd's 2 and 3 times a week. Hopefully more people will want to download it than purchase a hard copy.
